Patent Filing

- Applicant’s name, address, and nationality
- Electronic copy of the patent specifications in English, French, or Arabic
- Notarized Power of Attorney in the name of the applicant, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Certified priority document (if claiming priority) with sworn English translation (if the document is not in Arabic, English, or French)
- Notarized Deed of Assignment, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate (Required if the applicant in the Lebanese filing differs from the applicant in the priority application)
Post-Registration
Patent
Annuity Payments:
We monitor and manage annual maintenance fees, ensuring your patent remains in force for the full 20-year term from the date of grant.
Recordal of Changes:
We handle the recordation of all changes affecting your patent, including assignments, mergers, pledges, changes of name/address for patent owners, recording licenses, and voluntary cancellations

- Notarized Power of Attorney in the assignee’s name, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Notarized Deed of Assignment, signed by both parties and legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Patent registration number(s) and date(s)
- Original certificate(s) of the assigned patent registration(s) for endorsement purposes
- Notarized Power of Attorney in the name of the surviving company, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Certified/Notarized Merger Document, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Patent registration number(s) and date(s)
- Original certificate(s) of the concerned patent registration(s) for endorsement purposes
- Notarized Power of Attorney in the new owner’s name, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Certified/Notarized Change of Name Document, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Patent registration number(s) and date(s)
- Notarized Power of Attorney in the owner’s name with the new address, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
- Certified/Notarized Change of Address Document, legalized by the Lebanese Consulate
